Breeders’ Cup Friday

Today was a light card as far as Breeders’ Cup races were concerned, with most of the program to be run tomorrow. Highlighted by Goldencents’ gutsy repeat in the Dirt Mile after being pressed through blazing fractions, the day was capped by superfilly Untapable winning the Distaff. After the race, jockey Rosie Napravnik announced she’s retiring on Sunday to start a family, but today was all about girl power as the brilliant filly and her pilot finished a great campaign which will surely see Untapable named champion three-year-old filly.
